About Joyce

Despite a thriving career as an MIT engineer, BCG consultant, and Stripe product manager, I spent 5 years struggling with dating. So I did what high performers do: I hired 4 dating coaches, took 2 dating classes, and consumed dozens of books and podcasts until I built my own system. I then met my partner and left Stripe to coach full-time. The love and connection I experience with him every day is what motivates me. I want everyone to feel the joy I feel.

I'm the only dating coach trained in Stanford Business School's Interpersonal Dynamics ("Touchy Feely") methodology. My structured approach combines outer work (analysis, tactics) with inner work (mindset, emotional connection).

FAQ

  • Founders, executives, investors, and mid-career professionals who bring the same intentionality to their personal lives as their careers. My clients are growth-minded, process-oriented, and high-agency. They don't just want to "find someone." They want to build an exceptional life partnership and are willing to do the outer and inner work to get there.

  • Many clients notice meaningful shifts within the first few sessions, including clarity on what they're looking for or better matches. We track progress through both outer milestones (match quality, dates with long-term potential) and inner shifts (how you make decisions, trust yourself, connect with dates). While some clients find their person in 3 months and others unfold their growth over a year or more, all of my clients make meaningful progress toward their dating goals.

  • Consider me a member of your personal board of directors. Reach out whenever you want input, including on a text thread, profile draft, or date debrief. I respond within 1-2 days. You can also book spot coaching sessions for time-sensitive situations. All of this is included in your monthly retainer.

  • Most clients spend a few hours per week outside of sessions refining their profile, debriefing dates, or doing inner work like journaling or reflection. The goal is to make every hour you spend on dating more effective. I've worked with busy executives who were surprised by how much progress they made.

  • I ask for an initial 3-month commitment to ensure we have runway to create meaningful results. After that, we check in every 3 months to decide how to continue. Some clients work with me for 3 months; others stay on for a year or more, including after they've started dating someone. I focus on delivering a transformative experience and trust that it will turn into a long-term relationship when coaching is going well for both of us.

  • I meet with clients Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12-5pm Pacific. Clients typically schedule their next session at the end of the current one.

  • I work on a monthly retainer: $5,000 for weekly sessions (4 per month) or $3,500 for biweekly sessions (2 per month). Many clients have expensed coaching through their company.

  • I focus on coaching. I teach you how to source and assess your own matches.
